Janae began sewing at age 7. Between her 30+ years of sewing experience and earning a BFA in industrial design, she has a niche skillset for all things fabric and sewing, plus the ambition to take on projects large and small, simple and complex. She loves to see ideas become reality.

 

She takes a thorough approach through design research, concept generation, human factors studies, prototyping and sampling, fit checks, product testing and analysis, and provides thorough documentation for production. Collaboration, honest feedback, and transparency throughout the projects are top priorities.
